Gallery - Model and equipment information gallery for process integration

Gallery is an internet based library for fast simulation model building and efficient plant design. Gallery makes simulation model modules and equipment parameters readily available. Gallery is interfaced by simulation software and plant design systems to retrieve equipment parameters and models. Gallery includes proper internet security to prohibit access to sensitive information.

Gallery is hosted and maintained by Sim-Serv. The interface specification is freely available and can be implemented in any software. Sim-Serv calls for equipment producers to publish information of their products to Gallery Users.

Plant designers

The plant designers want their design environments to interface the Gallery. They can speed up the plant design by fast selection of the equipment. No more need to browse trough piles of papers and files from various equipment vendors. The Gallery includes search mechanisms to find suitable equipment for the desired process conditions. The search engine enables finding equipment from the products of all manufacturers or limiting to a specific one. The search engine automatically suggests the most economic alternative to the process conditions at hand.

Equipment Suppliers

The Equipment Suppliers upload the data of their products to the Gallery. They can upload parameters of single products like pumps or valves or entire models of sub-processes. These models are then used by plant designers. The solution providers can download information to build up simulation models.
