Short description of the project Digester plant automation needed to be modernised in Billerud Karlsborg pulp mill. In addition to more uniform pulp quality, energy and cost savings were looked for. The investment covered base automation featuring MetsoDNA, sequence controls, DNAcook-B batch cooking optimisation including controls for production rate and scheduling.
