WG#9 Roadmap of Simulation in Manufacturing and Logistics

Topic The Sim-Serv supported working group will bring together representatives of European manufacturing and logistics simulation community. The purpose of the road mapping group is to form a vision on how research and applications of simulation will evolve in the next 5-10 years time. Furthermore the group will lay down plans how to pursue that vision.
Goals

The roadmap should define top-level goals and supporting requirements for research, development and implementation of simulation technologies and capabilities.

The group will define the business drivers for improved simulation technologies. It will chart the technological challenges in the area. The group will decide on key areas where it will assess the current state and develop future state vision, goals and requirements.
